| Description | In this study group we will learn about various types of needle arts including cross-stitch, needlepoint, and embroidery. We will learn the techniques and put those skills to work on our own projects, as well as learning about the techniques in a historical context (i.e. learn about samplers during Colonial Times). This study group can accomodate a wide range of skills. For example, the lower skill level kids can cross-stitch on Klostern fabric which has large squares, and the higher skill level kids can try linen, which does not have discernible squares. |
