| Description | This study group will look at various manmade structures throughout the world to examine their form, function and historical text. We will begin with dwellings for early man i.e. caves,huts, and rudimentary homes then progress through the era's to cover cottages,houses,farms,castles,apartment buildings etc. We will also discuss other structures that have cropped up over time as humankind demanded a need/want for them i.e. bridges,motes,walls,monuments etc. I will attempt to have weekly or biweekly projects for everyone to experiment building their own structure based on the weekly form. |
