| Description | This group will cover topics in Modern World History from the from WWII through the time of the Cold War. This is a project based group that requires a substantial amount of homework (5-8 hours per week). The homework in this group is not optional. The projects will be created in response to student interest and may include mock trials, diplomacy conferences and/or historical reenactment. This group includes a writing component which will focus on formal research presentation and analytical essays. We will have at least one field trip on a different day and may do an overnight (this will be really fun, educational and open to parents and sibs, but obviously not essential). High School level students may conduct original research. |
