| Description | Children will be learning the basics of mythology & how traces of mythology are still present in our lives, from brand names of products, to expressions and words, to common symbols, to how we see modern heroes. Greek, Roman, Nordic, Egyptian, Chinese, Indian, African, and Native American myths are all introduced and analyzed, giving the participant a broader look at mythology, and how it reflects the culture of the civilization that developed the mythology, as well as how mythology gave birth to some of our words, products, and ideas of today. |
