| Description | This is the first half of a year long study group in Modern History using the History Odyssey Curriculum by Pandia Press (Level 1 Modern History). We will basically be covering the Victorian Era through World War I during this semester. Extra American History using Joy Hakim's "History of the US" will also be added. Participants will have required reading every week, as well as other homework throughout the semester. This study group is a discussion so participants need to come prepared and able to analyze subjects from all viewpoints to get the most out of this study. Other assignments will be given to given to parents to assign at their discretion (for example, literature suggestions to complement the studies). |
