| Description | In this study group, we will be writing and putting together a regular magazine. This fun paper never lets on who wrote what! Dedicated writers can get their stories and poems published. The focus of the first half of the semester is to learn haikus, short stories and other kinds of poems. Nora Lutter will also be there for the last ten minutes to teach kids how to illustrate their stories and poems. Each child can have one illustration in the magazine. The second half of the semester will be more writing and drawing but Sophie and Rachel will bring in one issue of the newspaper for each participant on a regular basis. It will have all your stories and poems in it! You can choose to have pen names or not, but it's more fun to have them! Always leave the question, "Who wrote what?" - Main.RebeccaParker - 14 Apr 2009 |
