What is Voyagers?
Voyagers Inc. is a homeschooling resource center and Coop located in Acton, Massachusetts. Voyagers is a secular, multi-cultural, volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides resources and a sense of community to support homeschooling families in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.
Voyagers supports children in their individuality. Participation in programs is based on ability and interest rather than age. Activities may include a wide age range, from younger children through adult. Most study groups, clubs, and activities are designed by Voyagers member families and are taught by parents and students. Several offerings are typically taught by paid contractors. Offerings change throughout the year, and each Coop session based on input from member families.
Voyagers Coop is not a school, we do not keep academic records, prescribe curricula, or assign grades. Families who participate in our programs retain full responsibility for their children's education. Voyagers is a place where homeschooling families come together for study, interest groups, companionship, special events, and performances.
