Coop-Day Registration Priority Order Policy

Definition of Terms

For clarification, the terms relating to membership status are defined as follows:

• Voyagers Member Family – a family who has paid the Voyagers Family Membership fee

• Leave of Absence (LoA) Family – a family who is taking one or two sessions off from Voyagers Membership and plans to return, and has arranged for a Leave of Absence

• Former Member Family – a family who was previously a Voyagers Member Family and who has not paid the Family Membership fee for the current session, and is not on a LoA as defined by the LoA Policy.

• Prospective Member Family – a family who wishes to join Voyagers and has never paid the Voyagers Family Membership fee.

• Wait List Family – a Prospective or Former Member Family who is on the current Wait List.

Coop-Day Registration Priority Order

Order of priority for being invited to register for a particular Voyagers Coop Day for the next session, on a space available basis:

1. Voyagers Member Families currently registered for that Coop Day
2. Voyagers Member Families who are not registered for that Coop Day, or who wish to add, or switch to, that Coop Day
3. LoA Families from that Coop Day
4. LoA Families who wish to add, or switch to, that Coop Day
5. Wait List Families who wish to register for that Coop Day

The Registrar and BOD reserve the right to make exceptions to this priority order to fit a specifically identified need (i.e., to facilitate a known high-demand study group and/or critical volunteer activity that in the opinion of the BOD cannot be met by the aforementioned policy).
