I'll bring in different games or activities each week from the Peggy Kaye books, Games for Reading and Games for Writing, which are designed to enhance literacy. We might make words from play-dough and then paint them the following week, or make pretzel letters. I might tell a story with silly mistakes in it for the kids to catch or present a problem for the kids to solve, or we might pretend to interview an alligator. There might be some paper cutting, painting, or collage making of words and pictures, etc. |
