| Family Provided Materials | Depending on how much I can buy with a materials fee of $10, I may ask families to bring in their own brushes. The Voyagers stash is pretty slim. Stay posted after registration. One week I'll ask you to bring in a sponge. Other "around the house" materials may also be requested. All families should bring a painting shirt or smock on the first day, which can be left at Voyagers for the term (storage provided) or brought home for a needed wash. |

| Description | Painting Explorers is designed for the youngest Monday Coop members. We'll cycle through tempera, watercolor and finger paint, with some twists. Painting with marbles? Painted egg cartons? String painting? We'll experiment. There will be no formal instruction, except that we'll work toward respectful treatment of materials. Supplies will be provided through the $10 materials fee, with a few supplies provided by parents. If it turns out that we are working through paint and paper much more quickly than we expect, we may have to pass the hat for more supplies, but we'll try to avoid it. |
