| Description | The goal of the class is to develop your presentation skills. We will watch presentations/speeches by masters such as Tony Robbins and Wayne Dyer and watch other DVDs about public speaking. We will learn to give speeches based on the Toastmasters model. For each class (except the first week) everyone will prepare 3-5 minute speeches on given topics (such as introducing yourself or your favorite hobby). You will then deliver the speech to the whole class and get feedback on it, such as how many times you said Um or Ah, how well you connected with the audience, etc. |
